December 2016 newsletter

Happy holidays and seasons greetings to all of our readers. And thanks for your support throughout 2016.

Also a reminder that the December newsletter will be our last monthly edition for a little while.

Quarterly newsletters will be replacing monthly issues in 2017. The first quarterly newsletter, being the autumn issue, will be emailed to subscribers in March 2017, followed by the winter issue in June, the spring issue in September and the summer issue in December. Keep a look-out for the odd intermittent email from the Web Team — it'll be an important reminder.

Each quarter we'll bring you up-to-date news on local issues, and we'll continue to encourage our readers to submit their news and views to share at any time in the cycle. Website sponsorship rates have been adjusted to reflect the changes.

In the December newsletter you'll find a few different pieces — the dilemma re repair and ongoing maintenance of our heritage Memorial Clocktower, a plea from Chifley Public School for financial support, a reminder about the annual Pere Receveur Mass at La Perouse, and Kamay parkrun, a new special interest group.

The Pollies are back for our Christmas issue, Peter and Steve from Silver sponsor NG Farah have provided a fascinating quarterly review on Little Bay and, of course, there's yet another treat from Sofia's kitchen.

Our website sponsors, as always, deserve an extra special mention as do our volunteer contributors. Many thanks to you all, we couldn't do it without you.
