Little Bay Women's Bible Fellowship | CLOSED

SPECIAL MESSAGE — Little Bay Women's Bible Fellowship to close | 17 September 2017

Dearest Sisters in Our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ.

Hoping that my message finds you all well.

After much prayer and deliberation, I have decided today to close Little Bay Bible Fellowship.

This Bible Study started up eight years ago in our home and it later moved up to The Seniors at Little Bay. To those who attended over the years have found it a Blessing and for myself especially.

I am now doing a course on Pastoral Care to take on a role (God Willing) as a Nursing Home Chaplain. This will involve more days devoted to this wonderful Ministry.

Thank you for all your love and support

Thank you for the members who have attended over the years. My Special thank you to Rose and Eunice. A SPECIAL THANK YOU to My Rose as I call her for her prayers, love, understanding and supporting me to this very day, to make this heartfelt decision.

Christmas Celebration Luncheon | Friday 8 December

I am still hoping to see you at the Christmas Celebration Luncheon on Friday 8th December at 12.00 noon at The Randwick Golf Club in the Bay Window.

Please RSVP by 1 December so I can add you to those who are still coming. It will be wonderful to share a meal together for the time we spend together and also celebrate the Birth of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Those on the mailing list are welcome too.

May Our Gracious God continue to Bless you all, I Thank Our Gracious God for you all.

Sincere love, Sofia x x x x x x

Grace to The Rescue

~ By Deborah Ann

Blessings by Deborah Ann

Grace restores,
the broken pieces
fills in the cracks
smooths the creases.

Grace heals,
the heart that aches
mends the wounds
patches the scrapes.

Grace renews,
the mind unraveled
reinforces the thoughts
that have been tangled.

Grace reaffirms,
the soul wanting
provides the strength
brings the calming.

Grace restores,
heals and renews
Grace always comes
to our rescue!

Romans 3:24

“Being justified freely
by his grace through
the redemption that
is in Christ Jesus:”

AND FELLOWSHIP THROUGH HIS HOLY SPIRIT INTO WOMEN WHO
LIVE THEIR LIVES AFTER HIS OWN PRECIOUS HEART.’

A very good morning to one and all of our Precious Sisters who attended yesterday- Little Bay Bible Fellowship
and those on the mailing list,
How I thank Our Gracious God for all of you. I sincere hope one and all are well.
What a wonderful study we had yesterday on The Essence of Prayer. Prayer gives flavour to our lives and essence in food gives it it’s specific flavour whether it is vanilla, lemon etc……
Just as a Grandmother or mother loves to hear the voice of her Child or Grandchild when they give her a call - even Our Loving Heavenly Father absolutely loves to hear from us, on any matter regardless. It can be trivial (e g finding a parking space for our car) or serious matters like health issues, pending operations the list goes on……..
That is why this specific study on Prayer is so beneficial. It helps us to get back into line in regard to Prayer and its importance.
New Living Translation
"Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”
How encouraging is it to pray. God hears all our prayers. He answers accordingly, sometimes yes, sometimes no, sometimes wait but we know that He ALWAYS answers with our good in mind.
New International Version
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

I Forgive You ~

Forgive ~CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann ~

God forgives me,
and you, I do too
though I’m not happy
with the things, you do.

But, by His grace,
and mercies ever tender
a forgiving heart to you
I am willing to render.

God forgives me,
I am not without sin
daily over kindness
there’s a battle, to win.

But, in His strength,
I fight off the attack
turning to Jesus for
the meekness, I lack.

God forgives you,
for what you’ve done
I forgive you too . . .
because of His Son!

Colossians 3:13
King James Version

“Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another,
if any man have a quarrel against any:
even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.”

Now, to get back to our meeting yesterday. We had a small number attend and I Thank you ever so much for attending those who did. For those who were unable and many where away overseas, specialist appointments, and Family member seriously ill - you all were with us In Spirit. The Study was sensational!! Then we ventured over to Botannix Cafe for a very delicious lunch and continued warm fellowship.

Our next meeting will be: Monday, 26th July at The Seniors in The Library - it shall be preceded by a Breakfast/coffee at
Botannix Cafe (where we had lunch yesterday) - we shall meet there nice and early so that we can have leisurely Breakfast fellowship. The time will be at 9.30 please. We shall at about 10.45 drive over toThe Seniors for our study at 11 a m - 12.15 a m.
We are up to page 21 and are starting at the paragraph labelled Conclusion - followed by the implications. Please read page 20 in the break up to the conclusion. Now, you do not have to do so because we will be covering it in class. Again, please come even if you have stopped coming for a time, come if you just want to listen and not participate (we will not put you on the spot.) Come just for warm fellowship just for the breakfast is great! Though we would love you to come all the way if you can - you will not regret it!
(If any one would like a lift e g Rose,  please be outside The Green Olive Cafe, Pine Avenue, Little Bay at 9.15 a m or anyone else.)
Our meetings for August are:-
Monday, 8th August.2016.
Monday, 22nd August. 2016.
Please pray for each other Prayer Points as we have seen much Prayer answered in our group.
The fellowship is warm and homely and we love each other so - I Thank Our Gracious God for all of you!
Will close now with a poem written by myself. I was inspired as I walked the coast adorned with the view of God’s Creation and writing a poem came to me. Hope that you enjoy a ‘home grown’ poem.
God Truly Bless one and all,
Sincere Love,
Sofia x x x x

Your Kingdom Come.

No ear has heard the amazing sounds to be heard,

No eye has seen seen clearly such beauty no longer blurred.

No mind can comprehend the beauty that will unfold,

Countless gifts in a Kingdom with streets paved with gold.

That we shall hear the sound of Your Voice so clear,

My eyes will see you personally alive, standing near,

My mind now comprehending things so amazing!

Standing before you and continually your name Praising.

Thank you Jesus when I stand in front of me,

Our Gracious God will see you instead of me,

Thank you for dying for me and setting me free,

My sins washed away with your pure blood at Calvary.

No more crying no more pain,

No more death and what this world holds in disdain,

Blessed Saviour who died for me,

I will live with you one day in ecstasy.
